Job Description

Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by:

  • Assisting patients with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and comfort
  • Supporting patient safety and daily living needs
  • Recording vital signs as directed by nursing staff
  • Changing bed linens and maintaining a clean, safe patient environment
  • Transporting patients to tests and procedures
  • Serving and collecting meal trays and providing between-meal nourishment
  • Being a trusted, compassionate presence for patients and families

Additional Job Description

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently registered as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in South Carolina
  • Active status on the Nurse Aide Registry, if certified
  • Completion of a CNA program (or willingness to complete within 6 months)
