Baptist Health is looking for a Central Materials Supervisor to join our team in Louisville, KY!

This role oversees critical aspects of supply chain operations within the healthcare facility, focusing on ERP utilization, customer service, inventory management, and fiscal responsibilities. This role requires extensive ERP systems knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to optimizing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties:

  • Has in-depth knowledge of ERP system processes within own area.

  • Provides direction in discussing and creating development plans with Materials Operations 

  • Manager, based on knowledge and expertise with clinical departments.

  • Resolves day-to-day or routine problems using defined processes.

  • Provides input into succession planning process for own work area.

  • Works/brainstorms with work team and provides suggestions for solutions that contain the appropriate level of risk; ensures work team understands and supports the focus on operational 

  • excellence.

  • Recommend and implement programs, policies, and strategies to increase production and efficient space utilization.

  • Facilitates and assists with NPR (new product requests) for clinical departments.

  • Collaborates with clinical directors and staff for any product-related needs, including quotes, analysis, vendor rep engagement.

  • Builds customer relationships, interprets customer needs and assesses their requirement.

  • Ensure quality service is provided to the customers and ensures prompt follow-through on customer complaints and inquiries related to shipment of merchandise and stock-on-hand.

  • Develops and implements modifications and innovations to improve the quality of service to our customers.

Qualifications:

  • High School/GED

  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma process improvement preferred.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in healthcare materials environment preferred.

  • 1-3 years Supervisor-related experience required
