The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Center of Excellence Manager, BSA leads and develops the BSA team within the Center of Excellence (CoE), ensuring delivery of high-quality business systems analysis services that support organizational objectives. This role focuses on team mentorship, strategic resource planning, process optimization, and tool standardization. The Manager collaborates with IT Delivery Managers, business partners, and technical teams to align BSA resources with project needs, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement across workflows, documentation standards, and reporting.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and mentor the BSA team, providing guidance, coaching, and development plans to foster skill growth, career advancement, and high performance.
Oversee the quality and timeliness of BSA deliverables, ensuring adherence to standards and alignment with Service Area delivery objectives.
Establish and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for process documentation, UI/UX wireframing, and reporting.
Collaborate with Delivery Managers and business partners to understand workflows, optimize processes, and ensure BSA resources have the necessary knowledge and skills.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of outputs.
Monitor team performance metrics, resource utilization, and project progress, providing feedback to ensure objectives are met.
Guide the team in translating business needs into technical requirements, developing reporting specifications, and supporting solution design.
Partner with Delivery Managers and Service Area Directors to gather requirements and assess tools and processes aligned with Service Area delivery objectives.
Collaborate with technical, project, and business teams on change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and implementation.
Keep Delivery Managers and Service Area Directors informed of resource allocations and team performance, remediating issues as necessary.
Attend and actively participate in required training and/or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture/team based training, or departmental huddles.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop teammates on technical, business, and project management competencies.
Strong understanding of system analysis principles, SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative), and integration technologies.
Skilled in overseeing process documentation, UI/UX wireframing standards, and reporting best practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated capability to influence stakeholders, lead change, and foster collaboration across teams.
Knowledge of custom-built and vendor-provided applications, with experience managing software/application functions including finance, HR, Salesforce, and fundraising solutions.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present information to diverse audiences.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and flowcharting tools (e.g., Visio, Word), along with working knowledge of MS Project or other commercial-grade project management tools.

EXPERIENCE
Requirements
Seven years of progressive experience in business systems analysis, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities such as mentoring, coaching, or guiding analysts or cross-functional teams.
Five years of experience overseeing or contributing to complex technology projects using system analysis principles, methodologies, and tools.
Three years of experience collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Salesforce, Marketing Technology, or fundraising platforms to support enterprise-wide solutions.
Three years of staff management experience.
Preferences
Three years of experience driving or standardizing practices in process documentation, UI/UX wireframing, and/or reporting specification development.
Three years of experience managing or evaluating integrations across multiple enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, Finance, HR, Business Intelligence technologies).
Three years of experience successfully managing relationships with key software and hardware vendors.
Experience partnering with stakeholders on change management initiatives and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) oversight.
EDUCATION
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, information technology, or a related field. Equivalent combination of applicable education, training, certification, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
