Overview

Join our team as a pivotal technical representative in the APAC region, ensuring effective communication between firmware, software, and hardware teams. Your expertise in Qualcomm cellular chipsets will be crucial for managing vendor relationships and spearheading advancements in RF and antenna technology. This role will enable our innovative solutions in the market while enhancing team collaboration and integration processes.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the on-ground representative for hardware and firmware teams, facilitating cross-functional communication between RF, Antenna, Validation, and software teams such as BSP and connectivity software.
  • Manage triage and resolution of technical issues with vendors like Qualcomm, leveraging deep knowledge of their cellular chipsets.
  • Lead RF bringup and customization, including driver and RF configuration tweaks, using tools such as QSPR, QDART, QRCT, and QxDM.
  • Support operations within Contract Manufacturer (CM) factories or lab environments, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality assurance standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Expertise in Qualcomm cellular chipsets and ecosystems, with comprehensive knowledge of ENDC/CA configurations and solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Qualcomm RF bringup in cellular settings, proficient in using tools like QxDM and QRCT for device analysis and testing.
  • Strong familiarity with RF and driver customizations in the Qualcomm environment, demonstrating practical use of QSPR and QDART tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to clearly present technical findings and collaborate with multiple teams both locally and internationally.
  • Flexibility to support operations in CM factory or lab settings, demonstrating adaptability to varied environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, or C++ to aid in software integration and tool customization efforts.
  • Experience with RF bringup processes, factory procedures
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in scripting and tooling for factory, on-device, or PC applications to enhance automation and increase efficiency.
  • Familiarity with Qualcomm antenna tuners and exposure to SAR, smart transmit, or coexistence features, providing added value to the RF development team.
