France remains a key strategic area for the bank, particularly in the fields of Cash Management and Treasury Services. Our Global Cash Management services, underpinned by advanced technology and the expertise of our teams, allow both corporates and financial institutions to generate synergies through greater efficiency and automation. Our Corporate Cash Management experts provide a portfolio of world-class solutions to help French CAC40 and large/mid cap clients improve liquidity and cash flow and optimise their treasury and payment businesses in France and around the globe.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for growth and delivering clear investment opportunities which position DB effectively in the French market. Liaise closely with local banking authorities to advance regulations in terms of eligibility and to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.
• Manage the in-country facilities and capabilities that are necessary to run the CCM franchise. Support local teams such as CCM Sales, local Relationship Managers and Cash Management Implementation & Service on all aspects of the business. Liaise as necessary with support functions such as Operations, IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance and others.
• Direct and steer local DB stakeholders in terms of global cash management vision with a clear mandate to continuously shape the product catalogue, manage the local P&L while adhering to DB’s risk appetite.
• Identify regional budget requirements and liaise with Global Product Managers and Senior Product Management for budget planning and priority setting.
• Define business requirements, present projects for approval, secure funding and translate jointly with all stakeholders into tactical delivery.
• Engage with key clients and market influencers to increase our awareness of how the client demand is evolving locally and how to position DB strongly with key local decision makers. Jointly with business, identify opportunities and translate them into executable strategies. Participate as a deal team member on key CCM client pitches.

Skills

• Cash Management experience preferred either as a corporate treasurer or in similar function in a financial institution
• Product Management Experience desirable
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentational skills required and able to efficiently work in virtual teams and a matrix organization
• Being able to set priorities and navigate between the key areas of risk/regulation, market & client expertise, product innovation and revenue growth.
• Strong project & stakeholder management with a proven track record of delivering against challenging projects.
• Deep understanding of local environment, be it industry trends, regulatory environments, competitors …
• Being pro-active, independent and with a “Can do attitude”
• Fluent in French and English, written and oral.
