Catering Assistant
North Downs Hospital, Caterham
30 Hour Per Week
The role:
In this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. You will get to enjoy working within a busy, private hospital providing a high quality service to our patients - taking food orders, food preparation, serving and clearing away meals/refreshments and supporting the catering department with various duties.
Where you’ll be based:
North Downs Hospital is one of Surrey's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for self pay/insured and NHS patients, conveniently situated close to Caterham. The private hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services including minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy procedures, orthopaedic surgery including spinal treatment and pain management, general surgery including hernia surgery, ophthalmology including eye laser surgery, gynaecology, urology and ear, nose and throat treatments.
The successful candidate will have:
Basic computer skills
Good written & verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment & independently as required
Flexibility & adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
Demonstrated customer service skills
Positivity, honesty & integrity
Level 2 certificate in food Hygiene is desirable
