The Category & Strategy Manager – OTC & Respiratory is responsible for leading category development and ensuring the effective implementation of brand strategies across trade channels. The role ensures Haleon becomes the shopper’s first choice by aligning execution with both global and local marketing objectives and delivering against sales targets and key KPIs such as distribution, visibility, training, and in‑store execution. The position also drives market opportunity identification using shopper insights and syndicated data sources (Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby), supports HCP training strategies, and contributes to cross-functional planning for best‑in‑class point‑of‑sale execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and deploy brand and category strategies across all channels, ensuring the Haleon portfolio becomes the shopper’s preferred choice while achieving company objectives
Lead Category Management processes with priority customers to improve sales, share of market, and optimal shelf space, partnering with Sales, Trade, and Marketing teams.
Support distribution objectives by enabling commercial teams to achieve product availability goals per brand/channel/point of sale, aligned with market needs.
Identify business opportunities through continuous analysis of consumer/shopper data, scorecards, and market trends, translating insights into actionable plans for commercial teams.
Develop visibility and communication plans by defining shopper‑focused POS strategies, creating communication assets and in‑store executions for each channel.
Lead commercial execution for product launches and image updates, ensuring proper codification, on‑time implementation, and alignment with brand plans.

Qualifications and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
6+ years in leadership roles in Marketing, Sales, Category Management or Trade Marketing in Consumer Health industry or FMCGs
Advanced Excel proficiency.
Advanced level of English (mandatory).
Must‑Have Skills
Strong strategic business acumen, decision‑making, and problem‑solving.
Ability to influence laterally and vertically; strong cross‑functional collaboration.
Solid knowledge of market studies (Nielsen, IQVIA) and deep understanding of the shopper landscape.
