Sony Europe is looking for a strategic, data-driven and credible Category Procurement professional to join our team.

You’ll act as the bridge between Marketing and Procurement, combining commercial insight with strategic thinking to shape how we invest efficiently & with results in mind. This isn’t a buyer role; it’s a true seat at the table. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to identify needs, challenge approaches, and build smart, forward-looking category strategies.

You’ll influence decisions, cut through complexity, and turn fragmented spend into clear, value-driven plans. Part advisor, part negotiator, part problem-solver. You are the person who makes marketing spend sharper, faster, and more effective.

You will:

  • Owning the strategy & relationships for your key category areas
  • Be accountable for your category pipeline development & coordination
  • Build, develop & maintain productive relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Influence senior leaders whilst maintaining alignment with Sony Europe Procurement strategy
  • Drive delivery of core priorities and make a clear impact on business outcomes.
  • Stay close to departmental goals and actively align your work to what matters most.
  • Spot opportunities to support your categories and act proactively.
  • Own KPI performance; track it, understand it, and act to keep everything on target.
  • Use data (e.g. Power BI, Rosslyn) to stay ahead of risks and opportunities, stepping in early to course correct.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for spend; review approvals daily, and confidently challenge or reject anything outside policy, strategy, or good practice.
  • Share clear, actionable insights with stakeholders and use feedback to continuously improve.

Based at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a vibrant and friendly working environment. We have an onsite canteen with a wide range of options available, and a barista style coffee shop. There is a well-provisioned onsite gym run by our own Sony Wellbeing Coordinator, with classes on set days in the mornings, at lunch and after work hours.
