What you'll be doing;
With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.
Driving to planned collections locations and loading waste into a walking floor trailer
Ensure the vehicle is safely and properly loaded, operated and driven at all times while collecting, transporting or tipping waste.
Undertake daily pre-use vehicle checks, reporting any defects to the transport office
Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure their work environment is safe and clean at all times
Ensure all scheduled work is completed and compliant
What are we looking for?
Cat C+E (Class 1) licence and previous driving experience
Driver CP/ DIGI card
Desirable:
Local geographical knowledge, including experience of driving in the area
Experience in transport of waste and use of walking floor trailers
