MSS Security is seeking a customer focused Casual Security Officer to join our team at the Eureka Tower in Melbourne. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in security while providing great customer service.
This position offers a Level 4 pay rate of $28.86 per hour, plus super and shift penalties where applicable.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and the building is secure.
Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
Oversee CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.
Provide a professional and welcoming presence at the concierge desk.
Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors with inquiries.
Ideal candidates will have:
Excellent communication skills.
Strong customer service skills and a professional presentation.
Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift as part of routine patrols.
Requirements:
Full Australian working rights.
Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
Valid Victorian Security licence with the control room subcategory.
Valid Victorian Drivers licence or a reliable means of transport.
Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
