Busy Bees at Mermaid Waters is looking for enthusiastic and flexible Casual Educators to join our friendly team. If you’re passionate about early childhood education and enjoy working in a supportive, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Located in the heart of Mermaid Waters, our welcoming service supports children to learn, grow and thrive through engaging play-based experiences in a safe and nurturing environment.
As a Casual Educator, you will support our team across different rooms and age groups, helping maintain high-quality education and care for children attending the service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the delivery of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Assisting educators in maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment
Building positive relationships with children, families and team members
Supporting daily routines and supervising children in line with service policies
Contributing to a positive team culture and maintaining standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)
We are looking for educators who have:
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently studying)
Current QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)
A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
Flexibility and reliability for casual shifts
