Job Description:

Major Responsibilities /Job Description:

Project property management improved. Tasks are accomplished as per the guidance and instructions.

  • Ensure proper handling of warehouse goods and properties with consistent management and use goods receiving notes, good issue and bin-card,

  • Handles Receiving and issue of fuel coupons and materials from store,

  • Ensure proper reconciliation of physical count with bin cards and stock cards and report the results regularly.

Regular follow up and recording of property management. 

  • As the cash custodian, he/she ensures proper handling of the material supplies according to the material management and finance guidelines of WVE.

Project property management improved with proper warehouse management.

  • Report the likely risks to the store and properties therein before any damage occurs and report any damage or missing properties in the store immediately after incidence and seeks safe disposal as soon as possible.

The project financial assets and materials safely managed.

  • Create well-structured filing system and being responsible for the overall Financial Hardcopy filing system.

Effected payments property management. 

  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Work Location: Hirna

Number positions required: One (1)

Language: Amharic, English and Afaan Oromo , knowing the local language is comparative advantage

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification:

Diploma in Accounting, Business and related field. Degree in Accounting, Business is an advantage.

Required Professional Experience:

  • Two to Four years working experience a similar or related positions of food assistance projects

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications  

  • Able to work with simple technical skills and deliver capacities to the position.

  • Good communication and presentation skill;

  • Technical Training qualifications required: Excellent computer skills in Excel.

  • Fluent in oral and written Amharic, English and Local language
