Job Description:

What’s the role

This position has a pivotal role to enable cash planning, local payments, foreign exchange and PSC processes.

The role must support urgent and specific payments handled locally in Brazil, keep banking relationships by providing accurate and up to date documentation and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements, such as permits and POAs (Power of Attorneys).

What you’ll be doing

Local/Urgent Payments:
Manage urgent and local payments from an end-to-end perspective by:
 

  • Providing guidance for vendor creation through completion of the SIS (Supplier Information Sheet) form, ensuring data is complete and compliant with internal requirements

  • Advising other areas and being responsible for Controller’s payments when required to fill in internal forms as GPRF (Global Payment Request Form) – used to request FI payments via SAP and MPRF (Manual Payment Request Form) – used for manual payments made directly through banking portals

  • Coordinating document release and posting in SAP, ensuring all steps are properly approved and documents are available for payment execution

  • Monitoring approvals in SAP workflow (WF), ensuring responsible parties approve according to levels defined in the MoA (Manual of Authority)

  • Executing local payments via banking portals, following internal guidelines and regulatory requirements

Banking Relationship:

  • Act as focal point for opening, closing, and maintaining bank accounts, as well as implementing new financial products once approved by Cash and Treasury teams

  • Manage banking compliance processes, including KYC (Know Your Customer), FATCA, CRS, and other regulatory obligations applicable to legal entities

  •  Perform registration updates with banks and brokers, including:

    • Registration forms for administrators and attorneys-in-fact, containing personal data, representation powers, and identification documents required by financial institutions

    • CNPJ forms for each legal entity under management, ensuring information is up to date and compliant with official records

    • Confidentiality and compliance terms, when required by banks or brokers to maintain commercial relationships and access financial products

  • Grant access to bank accounts according to internal policies and operational needs

  • Guide Accounts Payable and Global Payments teams on correct understanding of payment guides and procedures

  • In case of payment rejection, contact the bank directly to identify the cause and propose agile solutions

  • Prepare and monitor the following documents:

    • Circularization letters for external audits

    • Bank data and institutional representation letters

    • Bank instruction and payment authorization letters

    • Bank balance statements and payment receipts

Governance and Compliance:

  • Coordinate the corporate permits process by engaging with tax, legal, line of business and external office (Document Agent) and ensuring its timely renewal and managing accurate report in Risk and Assurance dashboard

  • Coordinate the annual update of financial powers of attorney (POAs), ensuring representatives have appropriate powers to act on behalf of the company’s legal entities with financial institutions

  • Prepare specific powers of attorney for external offices representing the company (Document Agent) with federal, state, and municipal agencies, ensuring legal compliance and the alignment with Legal

  • Manage completion of ESG forms required by financial institutions, coordinating responses among areas such as HSSE, Social Performance and Legal

Controls:

  • Review foreign exchange operations and financial investments requests made by Cash and FX team

  • Support FO team with ad-hoc questions raised during banking related to unidentified received amounts

  • Ensure the compliance and the quality assurance for area’s records in SharePoint

  • Regularly update the database used in KPI dashboards, ensuring integrity, consistency, and availability of information for decision-making

  • Identify opportunities for process simplification and automation

Support on Production Sharing Contracts (PSC):

  • Support the PSC Analyst for monthly cost oil report submission to PPSA

  • Assist PPSA’s cost oil audits on an annual basis upon gathering all requested support documentation

What you bring

  • Must have legal authorization to work in Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than the current employer

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields (preferred)

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

  • Experience with SAP and banking portals is desirable

  • Proficiency in Excel and data management/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)

  • Knowledge and experience of working with AI tools and agents is a differential

  • Knowledge of banking compliance processes (KYC, FATCA, CRS), powers of attorney, and document governance is desirable

  • Familiarity with foreign exchange operations, investments, and corporate permits.

  • Ability to update and maintain databases for KPI dashboards

  • Ability to challenge and support the business in identifying issues and value opportunities.

  • Demonstrates courage to influence and build trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders

  • Good communication skills

  • Proactivity in solving operational problems and focus on continuous improvement of root cause

  • Resilience to handle urgent demands, priority changes, and complex regulatory environments

  • Problem-solving ability with a structured approach and focus on effective solutions.

  • Advanced/Fluent English

  • Differential: courses or knowledge in technology, process automation, data analysis, or digital tools that contribute to area efficiency
