Business Overview:

The Cash Management Representative is responsible for the preparation of all outgoing and incoming proceeds by cheque and electronic money movement. This includes matching documents with cheques and entering data to process electronic money movements (for example wire payments, EFTs, Client Internal Transaction (CIT), A$M) for outgoing payments. Additional responsibilities include logging spreadsheets for incoming payments and daily deposit files. This role also involves the transmission of daily deposit files to TD Bank via the Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) machine. This role is required to work closely with internal and external partners.

What You Will Do:

  • Download cheque files at various daily intervals and execute the cheque printing process from the
  • various line of business.
  • Prepare cheques for distribution by the Mailroom and Cage window.
  • Create and maintain logs for all deposited, printed and voided cheques that have originated from
  • multiple lines of business.
  • Execute on outbound electronic payments - Wires, EFTs, Client Initiated Transfers (CIT’s)
  • TD Web Business Banking - Administer all aspects of the electronic money movement process, which includes:
  • Retrieving all inbound payments, maintaining and distributing spreadsheets for all electronically remitted money for various lines of business
  • Processing outbound payments accurately within established SLA's

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year work experience, preferably in the financial services industry

Education:

  • Post-secondary education preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • University degree completed or actively enrolled in a university program is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Written & Verbal) are required.
  • Strong communication skills in French (Written & Verbal is an asset.
  • Mathematical skillset is required.

The Expertise You Bring

  • Good customer service skills
  • Good keyboarding skills, with very strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills and flexibility with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (specifically excel) – Medium
  • Knowledge of electronic money movement processes is beneficial
  • Knowledge of mutual funds is an asset

 Competitive Pay for Specialized Talent

This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The hourly rate ranges from $28.00 to $40.00, based on experience and qualifications.
