Position Overview:

If you are a detail-oriented individual with basic accounting skills, functional understanding of cash management, and can work within defined timeframes you may be a good fit for the Multifamily Cash Management team. Our opening for a Cash Management Professional is to find the ideal candidate who enjoys working on a small team with a large impact to the Multifamily mission - “To keep rental housing available across the country by providing liquidity, stability, and affordability to the market, all while delivering positive returns to our stakeholders.”

Our Impact:

Multifamily Cash Management team is responsible for ensuring all Multifamily activities (incoming and outgoing) are processed in a secure environment with completeness and accuracy. Additionally, provide insight to management regarding the division’s cash position through Cash Flow Forecasting.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be an integral part of Multifamily Operations through the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Perform daily banking and cash reporting for Multifamily, including ACH management, wire transfers, and ensure all negative positions are resolved according to departmental and corporate policies.
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure appropriate processing of Multifamily expense payment transactions.
  • Track cash movement activities through in-house proprietary systems and external cash management banking applications.
  • Process payments for receivables and payables.
  • Set up counterparty delivery instructions.
  • Assist with all counterparty reviews and validations as precursor to wire instruction setups and maintenance.
  • Assist with maintaining the Multifamily Cash Management team’s policies and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental audits.
  • Provide monthly management metrics.
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting of Multifamily' s transactional data. Serve as a departmental day-to-day contact for stakeholders in Corporate Treasury, external banking, and other parts of the Multifamily Division.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Finance, Accounting or Business, or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • 3 or more years of comparable work in cash management, banking operations, accounting, or accounts receivable.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or candidate, preferred.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access database preferred).
  • Knowledge of Workday and Compass with Oracle financial software products desired.
  • Experience using SQL queries (i.e. Rapid SQL and/or MS Query), preferred.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $77,000 - $115,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
