About the role
We’re looking for a values-driven Youth Case Worker to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide case management, early intervention, group programs, crisis support, and community engagement for young people aged 12–25, aligned with the National Youth Services Model of Care.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Youth, this is a permanent full-time position based at Oasis Youth Services – Central Coast. Salary is in accordance with SCHADS level 4.
How you will make an impact
Help young people access education, jobs, housing, and health services
Support them to become more independent and improve their wellbeing
Provide crisis support, mentoring, and life skills coaching
Keep clear and accurate client records.
Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and mentoring
Work closely with other teams and services to provide trauma-informed and culturally safe support
Promote a safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful environment for all young people
What you will bring
Minimum Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work or similar discipline, preferably Bachelor’s Degree or Higher (other relevant qualifications within Community Services, Social Work or similar discipline will be considered).
A National Criminal History Check is required
NSW Working with Children Check
Current full driver’s licence
Previous experience in case work or similar role, providing case management to vulnerable young people from diverse backgrounds.
