What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI, Inc., is seeking a full-time Case Support Advisor. This position directly supports national security and suitability investigations, focusing on providing support to the Case Support team as well as field and review departments through the investigator helpline as well as case scoping.
More About the Role:
- Serve as subject matter expert by demonstrating a high level of knowledge of customer policies and procedures to include case coverage for all case types, issue resolution, reporting requirements, and working knowledge of FWS
- Answer case support, field investigator, reviewer, and section lead case related questions and concerns via telephone and email
- Understand the essential functions of case support, field, and review department positions
- Provides guidance to CACI field staff regarding responsibilities to the investigation along with issues raised during the conduct of an investigation
- Mentor and coach case support staff on customer policies/procedures, case coverage standards, documentation, quality, and performance
- Support process adherence by reinforcing customer-directed policy/procedure changes and ensuring accurate documentation and follow-through.
- Provide support to case support management by assisting with complex issue resolution, escalations, and case coverage decisions
- Manage daily workload and task list, prioritizing based on customer, business needs, and team needs; participate in all mandatory meetings
- All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, and are to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from the authorized company representatives

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship (a requirement for obtaining a Federal security clearance)
- Must possess and maintain a current favorably adjudicated T5 or T5R background investigation at all times
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience in conducting Federal background investigations and/or reviewing Federal background investigation reports of investigation
- Candidates must have at least 2 to 3 years of experience conducting/processing background investigations
- Must be able to multitask and be comfortable with fast paced environment handling both e-mail and telephone inquiries
- Must be available during core business hours.
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly detail-oriented, excellent time management, organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize and/or reprioritize daily tasks based on the needs of the customer, business, and/or your team; and remain flexible and receptive to changes resulting from customer or business needs
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize patterns, trends and/or issues, identify key findings, determine conclusions, and communicate all relevant information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face to face; ability to establish and promote a team-oriented work environment; and maintain an energetic positive-mind with the ability to foster relationships with and amongst your team and colleagues
- Impeccable work ethic, integrity, and “can-do” attitude with a sense of mission in support of national security
- Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable U.S. Government security clearance
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$54,800-$115,000
