Summary 

We are seeking a Case Manager to lead the work up of client cases from retention through resolution. As a Case Manager you are responsible for ensuring that every client’s claim is prepared thoroughly, filed properly, and positioned to achieve the highest potential recovery. You will play a critical role in preparing claims, gathering documentation, maintaining case data, and ensuring that matters move efficiently through the litigation process.

The successful Case Manager will exhibit strong attention to detail, effective client communication, and the ability to manage high volumes of case activity. 

Responsibilities 

  • Work up client cases from retention through resolution, ensuring all documentation, filings, and data are accurate and complete
  • Review client questionnaires and supporting documentation to determine statute of limitations, validate injuries and exposure, and identify cases requiring additional investigation or documentation
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, respond to inquiries, and ensure required documentation is collected in a timely manner
  • Review medical records and other evidence to confirm eligibility criteria, injury validation, and proof of use or exposure
  • Prepare case materials including case summaries, complaints, plaintiff fact sheets, supporting documentation, and other court-required submissions for attorney review
  • Coordinate filing activities, including preparing complaints, serving summons, managing proof of service, and addressing deficiency requests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information, documentation, and statuses within Litifythe firm’s case management system 

Job Qualifications 

  • Associates degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree is preferred. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and engage clients with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Comfort learning and adopting new technologies, with an interest in integrating technology and automation into case workflows
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment 
  • This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work

Bonus Points 

  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal case manager
  • Prior experience with Salesforce
  • Experience reviewing medical records and claimant documentation
