SUMMARY
The Carrier Representative is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with transportation providers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and reliable freight solutions. This role involves negotiating rates, securing carrier capacity, and coordinating shipments to meet customer requirements. Success in this position requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume logistics environment. The intent of this role is to deliver exceptional service while optimizing operational efficiency, operating proactively and with attention to detail.

Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 2-3 years of experience in transportation brokerage desired. 1-2 years of experience in sales or account management is preferred but not required.
