Description 
The Temp Controlled Carrier Procurement role is the operational support for our nationwide sales team. The role is responsible for booking and tracking shipments of freight. This role requires the ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize daily workload. All candidates must be able to overcome issues and resolve problems. Candidate must be comfortable on the phone and have great communication skills with the ability to relay information accurately and efficiently. Strong negotiating skills and the ability to develop relationships with carriers are a must. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, develop your logistics skills and collaborate with very talented people across our organization. 

Primary Responsibilities: 
· Utilize TMS system as well as web-based load boards to book and track shipments of freight · Ability to multi-task and get accurate updates to sales force 
· Negotiate rates with carriers 
· Maintain 15% margin on loads 
· Establish relationships with Carriers partners to leverage Capacity. 

Training: 
Candidate will shadow the Temp Controlled Manager for several weeks along with hands-on training with observation until candidate is confident to work individually. Our other Truckload Carrier Sales Reps will also help to answer questions as needed.

• $40,000.00 per year
