OverviewThis position performs prescribed procedures in accordance with departmental facility policies, procedures, and protocols, ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population and performs a variety of duties associated with patient preparation, supplies and clerical support. Demonstrates organization of work, knowledge of process/procedure, performs independently without close supervision to support efficient and effective operations and excellent working knowledge of procedure time allotments to ensure patient care needs are met. Executes workflow processes are accurately and timely to support daily financial expectations showing minimal account related variances and have the ability to assess data reflective of the patients' status and interpret the appropriate information.

- Consistently demonstrates ability to complete all paperwork/computer based work associated with all procedures according to department policies.
- Team member exhibits initiative and demonstrates the ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently. Recognizes the need for and seeks assistance.
- Monitors electronic medical record / departmental tech worklist to schedule patient exams; confirms physician order. Communicates with physician / physicians office team as required for correct orders as required. Collaborates with ancillary schedulers to coordinate multi-department exam scheduling.
- Maintains a high standard of procedural quality support. Monitors and assists probe processing and packaging consistently following all department procedure protocols.
- Assist with patient transport to minimize pre or post exam delays that impact departmental operations and benchmark productivity.
QualificationsEducation- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
Experience- 1 year Patient Care Experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 90 Days(Required)
