Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Cardiac Technician Non-Invasive to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at Saint Mary’s  Hospital. Work Hours/Shift: 

  • Full-time 40 hours

  • Day shift

You Will Be Responsible For:  

  • Operates Electrocardiograph, Holter Monitor and Stress Testing equipment. 

  • Receives exam requests and arranges procedure times. 

  • Prior to procedure technician verifies pertinent information with the patient.  The procedure is explained, and instructions are given to the patient. 

  • Any abnormalities or other pertinent information is documented on the exam and if necessary, the patient’s physician or nurse are notified. 

  • After the procedure is performed the study is logged into the Cardiology Information System and the equipment is properly cleaned and the supplies are replenished. 

  • The technician is also responsible for performing other miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering the phone, scheduling appointments, transcribing studies, retrieving, and filing records. 

Requirements:  

  • Education: High School, Registered EKG Technician required.

  • Experience: Prefer 1-2 years of experience.

  • Certification: EKG certification preferred. 

  • Skills: Basic EKG testing skills 

  • Basic computer skills required.  

  • Effective communication, organizational and critical thinking skills.
