Follows clearly defined procedures to provide support to cardiologists, registered nurses and radiology staff for the execution and technical analysis of procedures performed in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Integrates education, technical competence and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a Cardiologist or Interventional Radiologist. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care. May be responsible for mentoring and training students.Job Description:
EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program
LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Certified Radiologic Technologist - CRT Required
ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists Preferred
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy Preferred
ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 180 Days of hire
EXPERIENCE
Requires basic clinical and practical experience as typically acquired in a Cardiac Care environment or Catheterization Lab. Preferred

Pay Range is $66.27 to $80.78 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
