Job Summary

To maintain daily Functions of the Payments/Card Services Department; while providing quality service and achieving the goals and objectives set by the department and Credit Union.

SCHEDULE

This position will have rotating shifts, every other week, as follows;

Week 1- Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm

Week 2- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Helps internal customers to Assess, Advise and Assist with projects making sure they will work within the credit union Provides quality service to members of the credit union as well as external and internal customers.
  • Exhibits outstanding service skills and enhances each member’s financial relationship with Mountain America.
  • Adheres to the philosophy and mission of the credit union in actions and communication.
  • Answers questions completing general and in depth inquiries pertaining to the Payments/Card Services Department.
  • Opens and Disperses interoffice mail to appropriate areas.
  • Fulfills any inquires via email, IM’s or any type of communication in a timely manner.
  • Maintains card records on Symitar or card processor manually if needed.
  • Researches and processes MACU ATM  adjustments through proper channels. Sends detailed notification to cardholder.
  • Specializes in 2 or more specific tasks.
  • Assists with educating branches about Card services.
  • Issues cards and Pins; Performs balancing and general functions of instant card program.
  • Ensures quality service and customer resolution regarding Visa Rewards.
  • Opens and Issues approved Visa corporate credit accounts for MACU employees.
  • Sends cards and card machine supplies to branches when needed.
  • Performs other duties assigned.

Experience

One to three years of similar or related experience.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

Intermediate skills used in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to compile financial information, develop charts and graphs from data gathered in Excel. Preferred intermediate to Advanced Adobe Writer.

Managerial Responsibility

Has no supervisory/managerial responsibility.

Language Skills

Must have the ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form.

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively communicate.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES / WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands

Ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms consistently. Ability to stand, walk, kneel and crouch occasionally.

Vision Requirements

Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more).

Weight Lifted or Force Exerted

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

There are no unusual environmental factors.

Noise Environment

Moderate noise (business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
