Pay Range

$54.90 - $82.35

Major Responsibilities  

  • Assess clinical technologies and equipment performance to identify opportunities for standardization, consolidation, and improvement. 
  • Conducts cost-benefit analyses and total cost of ownership evaluations for new and replacement technologies. 
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure technology decisions align with clinical needs, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Participants in Enterprise Equipment Standards Committees for assigned verticals.  Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and vendor offerings.  Aid in facilitating conversations and connecting with the Medical Sourcing teams on contracting needs. 
  • Supports the development and maintenance of a multi-year capital equipment replacement plan for all fleet clinical equipment. 
  • Work with Finance and stakeholders to align replacement schedules with capital budgets. 
  • Serve as project manager for major equipment acquisitions, upgrades, and buyouts. 
  • Negotiates bulk purchase of equipment above and beyond Advocate contract pricing. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including clinicians, IT, facilities, and vendors to ensure successful implementation and integration. 
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and deliverables; monitor progress and resolve issues to ensure on-time, on-budget completion. 

  

Minimum Job Requirements 

Education

  • ​Advance Training in Clinical Engineering, Supply Chain, Nursing, or Healthcare Administration​.  

Certification / Registration / License 

  • N/A  

Experience

  • ​​5-years​ - ​Clinical Engineering, Supply Chain, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field​.

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of professionals. 
  • Advanced interpersonal skills to effectively form collaborative relationships with peers 
  • Excellent written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • This position requires minimal travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.  
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job. 
  • Exposed to a normal office environment
