The Capability Lead - Digital Identity is a senior management role, responsible for developing, owning and driving product and service strategies.
By using their market focus and expertise, this role ensures that the organization’s product and service offerings remain relevant, sustainable, compelling and competitive within the markets they are designed to serve.
The Capability Lead - Digital Identity is required to own and drive the product management strategy in their assigned business unit/division and is also responsible for identifying opportunities for new product and services development or for the enhancements to existing products and services.
Key responsibilities:- Develops, owns and drives product strategies and cascade the organization’s overall product strategies into the business divisions and to the relevant stakeholders.
- Analyzes current market trends, conducts market research and specifies market requirements for current and future products.
- Sources or develops concepts for new products to investigate and identify enhancement concepts for existing products.
- Determines the feasibility of the concept for development and define and develop the product specifications.
- Takes responsibility for the definition, monitoring and management of the lifecycle roadmap for each product in the portfolio.
- Vets the suitability of vendors and partners, alliances and suppliers.
- Develops and delivers product training and communication to client facing staff and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Establishes, develops and maintains product-pricing models and contribute to the identification of suitable promotional techniques and sales and distribution channels.
- Works with marketing colleagues to colleagues to perform client, competitor and market analysis.
- Gathers and prioritizes product and client requirements to identify opportunities and to define the product vision.
- Identifies the opportunities for new product development or for the enhancements to existing products.
- Responsible for continuing product evolution, product enhancements, the introduction of new product features and functions and the retirement of certain products or variations to ensure product relevance and competitiveness.
- Educates the relevant internal stakeholders on new or enhanced product offering to enable sales optimization and client satisfaction.

- Extended understanding of the product’s functionality and capability.
- Displays an astute mind-set with critical thinking ability.
Academic qualifications and certifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or Business or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Scaled Agile and ITIL are beneficial.
Required experience:- Extended experience in a similar position, preferably gained within a global technology services organization.
- Extended experience gained within the technology industry.
- Extended track record managing the implementation new products or product lines.
