Über Sie und diese Rolle:
Wir suchen eine ambitionierte Masterstudentin bzw. einen ambitionierten Masterstudenten zur Unterstützung unseres Teams im Rahmen eines Praktikums oder einer Masterarbeit an der industriellen Abwasserbehandlungsanlage an unserem Standort in Stade, Deutschland.

Projektbeschreibung:

In einer der Kläranlagen des Dow Standortes in Stade soll die Primärschlammabscheidung in der Vorklärung optimiert werden. Ziel ist es hierdurch die nachgeschaltete biologische Behandlungsanlage zu entlasten und den Gesamtprozess zu optimieren. In dieser Arbeit soll hierzu der Primärschlamm besser charakterisiert werden und mögliche Trennmethoden untersucht werden. 

Verantwortung:

• Beschreibung der aktuellen Abwasser‑Vorbehandlung und Untersuchung von Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten zur Abtrennung von bestimmten Stoffen aus dem Prozess
• Anwendung statistischer Methoden zur Auswertung von Betriebsdaten und experimentellen Daten
• Probenahme sowie Labor- und Pilotversuche

Qualifikationen:

• Du befindest dich aktuell in einem Masterstudium (oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang) der Chemieingenieurwesen, Bioverfahrenstechnik, Verfahrenstechnik oder Umweltingenieurwesen.
• Du verfügst über gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
• Erste Erfahrung in der Laborarbeit ist wünschenswert.
• Du besitzt gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und arbeitest gerne mit unterschiedlichen Berufsgruppen zusammen.

Bevorzugte Fähigkeiten:

• Falls möglich, Kenntnisse in Abwasserbehandlung, Fällungsmechanismen und Trenntechnik

Zusätzliche Hinweise:

• Der Starttermin ist flexibel zwischen Juni und Oktober (einschließlich) für eine Dauer von sechs Monaten. Der genaue Zeitraum kann individuell abgestimmt werden.
