About you and this role
We are seeking an ambitious master’s student (m/f), to support our Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) team at our location in Tarragona, Spain.
 

The team supports two manufacturing sites along with utilities, site logistics operations and our research laboratory. As an environmental engineering intern you will be part of a team that supports implementation of the environmental management system including work processes, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory and environmental compliance, add value to meet site objectives, and maintain the license to operate.


Should be self-motivated, thrive on responsibility and demonstrate high levels of initiative and flexibility. Comfortable working in small teams and ready to learn from the practices of others, you should also have a willingness to continuously develop your knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides onsite Environmental support to facilities to update the periodic soil situation report.
  • Ensures EH&S work processes, standards and procedures are applied.
  • Takes care of writing and archiving permit requests, notifications and other general documents.
  • Participates in Environmental Compliance Events investigations and audits.
  • Interprets and Applies Environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Participates in related internal and external environmental networks.
  • Provides EH&S expertise and input to the plants’ efforts for improving operating discipline and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a master's degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, manufacturing engineering or similar. 
  • Fluent Spanish/Catalan. Good working knowledge of English (C1).
  • You can start between June and July 2026 for a period of six months (exact timing to be discussed).
