Overview:
Reporting to the Campaign Marketing Manager, the main role will be to drive sales of our vast dental product portfolio by coordinating and uploading all promotions the relevant systems. The role will also require you to assist the marketing teams and OneSchein group across our all-marketing channels; both digital and traditional.
You will need to have excellent attention to detail and intermediate to advanced Excel skills to ensure all information is up to date and accurate as you will also be producing analysis of all our campaigns, ROI reports using advanced Excel techniques, sales data and bespoke business systems.
Attention to detail and deadlines is vital, as is a keen mind for data and the ability to handle a variety of tasks to support the team.
This is a fast-paced environment with lots of moving parts within great marketing teams. You will need to have both a creative mind and be able to manage and manipulate data plus be able to multi-task and manage campaigns without compromising on deadlines or accuracy.
Job Responsibilities:
The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:
Summary:
As part of this role, you will be required to:
- Handle the internal processes and systems including uploading data and promotions to the sales system and work directly with our eCommerce team.
- Liaise with the marketing teams to establish which promotions are current and upload to the sales system and work directly with our eCommerce team.
- Use pricing spreadsheets and understand margins at a basic level.
- Have strong excel skills and an aptitude for data manipulation, measurement, and analysis of large data sets.
- Possess excellent attention to detail.
- Prepare marketing reports as required including ROI on campaigns and promotional activity and supplier sales and manipulate sales data to analyse marketing activity and highlight the findings.
- Prepare, raise, and send invoices and stock claims to suppliers.
- Keep the marketing database up to date, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.
- Raising purchase orders.
- Manage the administration of the advertising programme for the team, ensuring no deadlines are missed, keeping our schedule up-to-date and negotiating with suppliers to secure best pricing.
- Managing the briefing of Journal adverts
- Undertake day-to-day administration in support of the marketing team (e.g. filing, photocopying, mailing etc.)
- Opportunity to progress and work with creative to produce campaigns and collateral, have lots of creative ideas to keep our marketing fresh and responsive as well as flawless spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
In addition:
- Involvement and assistance with any other marketing activities, as and when required.
- Attend training courses, exhibitions and seminars as required.
- Various monthly administrative tasks.
- Be always an enthusiastic team player by always being approachable and helpful to vendors and other departments. Give support to assist team members in other departments, as and when necessary.
- Aid the Events team to keep the marketing area tidy and pack materials for events.
- Attend external events and exhibitions as directed (infrequent).
Job Skills & Experience Required:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of data interpretation, manipulation and interrogation and Microsoft Excel intermediate to advanced level.
- Sort, Filter, Basic formulas, margins, pivot tables & v-look ups.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
- Organisational and prioritising ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Fluent in both written and spoken English - examples will be expected at first/second interview.
- Desirable:

- Marketing or sales experience.

- QlikView
- Salesforce/CRM
- Experience of an ERP (Enterprise resource planning) software system, such as JD Edwards or SAP would be helpful.
Education & Qualifications:
- Preferably educated to degree level but CIM or other marketing or business qualifications would be acceptable.
- Would be required to study and pass BDIA Introduction to Dentistry course.

- This position will be working in an office environment, utilising typical office equipment.
- There will be some travel between UK offices.
