Pratt and Whitney has an exciting new opportunity with our Commercial Engines Campaign Finance group for a FP&A Manager.

This position will report within the commercial finance group supporting the Customer Business Organization (CBO) and will be an onsite position based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.

What You Will Do:

We are seeking a highly motivated Campaigns Finance Manager to join our Restructuring team.

You will have the opportunity to directly impact the next generation of P&W products and services.

This position will report within the commercial finance group supporting the Customer Business Organization (CBO).

This position will work directly with the Customer Focus Team for their respective proposals; partnering with Sales, Contracts, Legal, Programs, Operations Analytics, Engine Services and Accounting

The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, financially savvy, and passionate about their work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage multiple complex financial models, simultaneously, to affirm value for New Engine Business and Aftermarket campaign proposals across all (global) regions.

- Participate in campaign strategy formulation; kick-off to final decision, coordinating with team members from Sales, Contracts, Legal, Programs, Operations Analytics, Engine Services and Accounting.

- Provide detailed sensitivity analysis on engine contract pricing to determine optimal engine cost and aftermarket terms to provide maximum value to both the customer and Pratt & Whitney.

- Ensure our cost sheet models reflect strong economics and financial metrics that are aligned to our long-range portfolio targets.

- Contribute to the development and design of the next generation of finance tools.

- Present financial analysis and recommendations to senior management for approval.

- Review proposal documentation and contracts to ensure accuracy of our commitments/conditions offered to the customer.

- Perform ad hoc sensitivity analyses in support of CE Finance and CBO utilizing the Campaigns Portfolio Database.

- Work with other CBO and finance teams to identify and implement process improvements into daily procedures and financial models to help promote an environment of continuous learning and development. 

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 8+ years of applicable experience; OR an advanced degree in and 5+ years of applicable experience.

- Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work on cross-functional teams.

- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

- Contract EAC experience.

- Highly adaptable team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

- Well organized person, able to plan, forecast, and track progress and to use written, verbal, and analytical skills to influence business objectives.

- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight from manager.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
