Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2019, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.
The Calibration Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day verification, calibration, and repair of instrumentation across the Redwood Materials Battery Materials Campus in McCarran, Nevada. The role is responsible for the performance of verifications, calibrations, associated support tasks, and effective record keeping related to calibrations to support ISO certification. This role will support production lines, analytical labs, pilot plants, and general services departments. Relocation assistance available depending on level and experience.

Desired Qualifications:
Comfortable keeping accurate calibration records and working in ISO-regulated quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, IATF 16949 preferred)
Ability to work independently, manage daily workload, and see jobs through to completion
Able to follow written instructions, prescribed routines, and accepted calibration practices
Communicates clearly and professionally with operators, supervisors, and team member
Shifts:
A Shift: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Sunday-Tuesday (every other Wednesday)
C Shift: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Thursday - Saturday (every other Wednesday)

Working Conditions:
Work performed in varied indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to hazardous materials and challenging conditions (noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes) while wearing required PPE for extended periods.
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
