Job purpose
The Calibration System Engineer is a part of the systems engineering competency at our Technical Center in Kraków.
The PowerDrive Systems business unit is responsible for delivering hybrid and fully electric vehicle solutions to customers. The Calibration System Engineer will be responsible for the development, optimization, and release of system‑level calibration across the complete V‑cycle, from concept to final validation. The role ensures that system functions meet internal and customer requirements through structured calibration activities, high‑quality data management, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Key responsibilities
Calibrate system functions in alignment with internal and customer requirements.
Contribute to the definition of system test cases; execute tests and evaluate calibration based test results as well as system validation outcomes.
Prepare clear documentation and justification of calibration data to meet required maturity levels.
Regularly integrate calibration data from all project contributors, verify data quality, and release calibrated software to customers.
Drive efficient data maintenance practices, process optimization, and ensure transparency and measurability of project progress within the calibration data management system.
Moderate calibration data reviews; analyze and report data regarding validation completeness, data consistency, and maturity.
Continuously improve calibration and validation test methods used on Test Bench, HiL, eDyne, and Vehicle.
Support investigation and resolution of issues identified during development, durability testing, or other relevant phases.
Participate in team meetings, design reviews, development test trips, and customer support activities.
Work effectively in a diverse, distributed team environment with strong cross team and cross domain communication.
Promote and apply current technology standards in a competitive environment while staying up to date with new technologies.
What we’re looking for
Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience in automotive system development or ECU system calibration; experience with automotive high voltage power electronics is an advantage.
Knowledge of development and assessment process frameworks such as ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE.
Understanding of systems engineering principles and vehicl elevel architectures.
Organized, structured work style with strong attention to detail.
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to understand interactions between hardware, software, and customer use cases.
Up to 25% domestic and international travel required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is an asset.
Valid driving license, minimum category B.
