We’re hiring a Calibration Specialist at our rental facility in Midland, TX, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. (On call during the weekend only in special circumstances)
Calibrate and maintain equipment, measuring instruments, and systems according to set standards and specifications
Test and identify faults in equipment and systems and troubleshoot issues
Create calibration procedures and reports documenting calibration findings
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
Research and recommend new calibration methods and procedures
Manage inventory of calibration equipment, supplies, and spares
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to ensure calibration procedures meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Prepares cost estimates for repairs and makes recommendations.
Performs emergency repairs as required.
Perform routine calibrations on rental equipment including lifting equipment, power tools, measuring devices, and other specialized tools as per manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Utilize calibration equipment like test weights, pressure gauges, voltage meters, and specialized calibration software to verify accuracy.
Make necessary adjustments to equipment to achieve proper calibration within tolerance level
May be required to work overtime and/or different shifts when circumstances warrant as determined by the supervisor.
Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor

We’re looking for people who:
Strong understanding of measurement principles, basic mechanics, and electrical systems relevant to construction and industrial equipment.
Experience with various calibration techniques and equipment, including knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and identify root causes of calibration issues.
Must possess exceptional customer service, organization, time management and communication skills
High school diploma or GED certificate; associate degree preferred
Experience working with ISO Standards
