Your Team, Your Impact

Join our dynamic team focused on developing, operating, and optimizing a state-of-the-art HPC cluster dedicated to chip verification. As an EDA Engineer, you will drive EDA tool workflows and the underlying HPC infrastructure optimizations, primarily leveraging LSF as the workload management system. You will collaborate closely with verification engineers, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and scalability. Your work will be strategic, directly impacting Marvell’s bottom line.

What You Can Expect

  • Contribute to architectural innovation and process improvement for future grid scalability and efficiency

  • Conduct pathfinding working alongside our IT and design team stakeholders to explore new optimization techniques to improve design engineer productivity

  • Aim to reduce the ops overhead on the team, drive infrastructure cost optimization using advanced AI/ML/Analytical techniques

  • Work with senior leaders at Marvell to influence and implement innovative ideas to speed up flows on Marvell infrastructure ( on-premises and cloud)

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience or Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a formal degree.

  • Proficiency with Programming or scripting in languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl for automation and workflow development

  • Working knowledge of Linux system administration and cluster troubleshooting

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure or hybrid HPC environments

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams

  • Track record of identifying and implementing infrastructure optimizations for efficiency, throughput, and reliability

  • Strong Architectural skills

  • Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux

  • Experience with HPC cluster management, especially using LSF/Platform LSF, in a chip verification or EDA context highly preferred. Alternately, working knowledge of SLURM/UGE or equivalent scheduler

  • Cloud Knowledge : AWS/GCP/Azure or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with regression management tools, and workflow automation specific to silicon verification

  • Knowledge of chip design / EDA flows and Cadence/Synopsys tools is a huge plus

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

127,630 - 191,200, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
