The Opportunity:

CACI’s Digital & Enterprise Solutions (D&ES) Sector is seeking a CAD Manager. Responsible for overseeing the configuration control and development of network documentation utilizing CAD systems and processes.  This role requires a deep understanding of AutoCAD and MS Visio technologies, configuration management principles, and data management practices to deliver high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement configuration control policies and procedures.

  • Ensure all CAD drawings and models comply with organizational standards and specifications.

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into CAD designs.

  • Manage CAD files, ensuring proper version control, documentation, and storage.

  • Ensure all CAD designs are properly versioned, documented, and stored in accordance with organizational standards.

  • Manage change control processes to maintain data integrity and consistency.

  • Oversee the management of CAD data, including storage, retrieval, and archiving.

  • Provide technical support to team members for CAD-related issues.

  • Assist in training new employees on CAD software and processes.

  • Ensure all CAD drawings and models are accurate, complete, and meet quality standards.

  • Implement data management best practices to ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility.

  • Work with a team of CAD professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

  • Identify and document opportunities for process improvement within CAD systems and workflows.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between CAD teams, project managers, and other relevant parties to ensure that quality deliverables.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on quality assurance activities and metrics to stakeholders.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and AutoCAD

Qualifications:

Required:

  • US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance

  • Degree: Technical BS degree with 5 years of experience in CAD management and operations

  • Commensurate: High School diploma or associate degree plus a minimum of 7 years of experience

  • Proven track record of successfully managing CAD systems and processes

  • In-depth knowledge of CAD technologies, software, and tools.

  • Certified CAD Technician (CCT) or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and resource management tools

Desired:

  • Active Secret security clearance

  • Experience in a DOD or US Army engineering and system integration projects

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$58,500 - $122,800
