We are looking for a skilled and motivated Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the Mission Systems Software (MSS) IPT on the C5i (Command-and-Control Communications Collaboration Cybersecurity and Intelligence) Product Line. The C5i Product line is a mature DevSecOps program which currently consists of the Qatar ADOC (Air and Missile Defense Operations Center) and the AOC (Air Operations Center) with the possibility of future growth.
In this position, the IPTL will oversee the strategy, execution, development, and delivery of all Software scope for the program across multiple scrum teams. The IPTL will provide leadership to assure quality, timeliness and cost efficiency of MSS in accordance with the contract requirements and planned budget and schedule. This role will involve frequent collaboration with program management, the office of the chief engineer, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and external parties. Additionally, the IPTL will be responsible for managing costs, schedules, and execution activities, including Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews, proposal costing and leadership reviews, staffing projections, and monthly metrics tracking.
What You Will Do
Drive technical, schedule, and cost performance while delivering a product which is compliant with the contract. This involves developing solutions which are the best fit for the overall program performance, supportability and long-term sustainment.
Communicate status, issues and resolutions to leadership on matters that significantly impact program success.
Provide technical oversight to the Sub-Contractor, Solipsys, which is funded through an IOT (Inter Office Transfer).
Specific Responsibilities include:
Oversight of engineering activities across multi-disciplinary teams supporting MSS.
Ensuring cost and schedule for on time delivery of software to meet the mission, contractual obligations, and customer expectations.
Interacting daily with other cross-discipline teams to meet program goals and objectives while driving on-time and on-budget performance.
Interaction with the customer community, the program office, functional and technical leaders.
Early identification of risks and opportunities, along with mitigation and capture plans.
Partnering with the leads including chief engineers and technical leads to provide the most cost-effective technical solutions.
Establish open and effective communication with team members, ensuring team cross training, mentoring and growth opportunities.
Attending regular customer meetings and ensuring a positive customer relationship.
Supporting strategic efforts to identify and advocate for future growth of system operability.
Regular review of program status including tracking and review by both Engineering and Program Leadership.
Responsibility for development of software proposals and support to all program proposal efforts, including negotiations and reviews for any new scope and any potential contract modifications to ensure success and growth for the business.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience managing project or program cost, schedule and risk or experience with Earned Value Management, Risk & Opportunity, IMS or IMP tools.
Experience presenting program and technical issues to senior stakeholders.
Experience in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering and/or System Integration

Experience with proposal or capture efforts.
Experience in preparing customer and/or management level briefings.
Experience with DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle.
Earned Value Management System Certification.
Experience with both domestic and international defense programs including both Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts.
Experience working on a development program using agile/scrum and in DevSecOps/Automation.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
