Job Title: BXCI – IABC and Client Captain, Investment Operations, Senior Vice President

 

Job Description:

The IABC and Client Captain Team provides support directly to clients to ensure they have optimal operational experiences and serves as a key liaison between the Deal Team and Transaction Management functions within Investment Operations, ensuring a well-coordinated transaction lifecycle. The position enhances communication, improves process consistency and supports the execution of complex or high-touch transactions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Serve as the primary operational point of contact for key clients, monitor operational workflows to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience

·       Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (such as Client Solutions, Asset Allocations, Operations, Finance, Technology) and service providers to resolve client challenges, identify service gaps and areas for process improvement

·       Manage client onboarding and new product/mandate launches, ensuring timelines, documentation and process setups are executed

·       Track clientrelated KPIs and service metrics; prepare regular client performance reports

·       Coordinate end‑to‑end execution for high‑touch transactions, with a focus on IABC-originated deals, ensuring milestones are met and facilitating timely communication to internal stakeholders to enhance transparency and alignment

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. 

The successful candidate must have:

 

·       Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting

·       10+ years of operations or client service experience, preferably in financial services or another complex, regulated industry (insurance clients beneficial)

·       Demonstrated success managing client relationships in an operational context

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex operational details clearly

·       High attention to detail and strong problemsolving ability

·       Experience with workflow systems, client reporting, and service metrics

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment
