Manage end-to-end supply chain starting from supplier planning /
scheduling to domestic & import suppliers thru SAP MRP/Excel.
Ensure the monthly plan vs actual compliances thru strong follow
ups and planning with suppliers.
Must have the exposure to manage the import cycle: → Shipment
Planning → Customs Clearance → Delivery to plant.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and CHAs to ensure
timely import of goods as per BW production plan.
Review and verify EXIM documentation such as Commercial
Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, HS Codes, etc.
Ensure BOE closure, duty payments, and adherence to statutory
requirements as applicable time to time.
Prepare export documents: Shipping Bill, Invoice, Packing List,
COO, E-way Bill, etc. Ensure compliance with destination country
customs and quality norms.
Ensure 100% compliance with DGFT rules, Customs Act, Foreign
Trade Policy, and BIS norms etc.
Manage licenses such as EPCG, Advance Authorization, and ensure
related documentation and ensure the renewals.
Support audits (internal/external) related to EXIM, quality, and
procurement.
Maintain accurate records of import/export transactions for
statutory reporting.
Analyse freight rates, duty structures, packaging costs, and
warehousing expenses.
Drive initiatives for cost reduction (route optimization,
consolidation, alternate sourcing, FTA utilization).
Coordinate with Finance for vendor payments, LC processing, and
foreign remittances.
Partner with external and internal stakeholders like Production,
Planning, and Stores to meet material availability requirements.
Ensure uninterrupted material flow to support production and
avoid line stoppage.
Plan inbound material requirements based on production
schedules and lead times.
Maintain optimum inventory levels through MRP/ERP planning.
Track shipment status (Domestic, imports/exports) and share
updated timelines with production, stores, and logistics.
MIS Daily, Weekly, Monthly for schedule adherence and generate
the action plan in case of any shortage.
