We are currently recruiting for a part-time Buyer position. This role is 30 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday, and is based onsite* at our facility in Havant, UK

Role Overview:

The Purchasing team is responsible for the compliant, cost effective acquisition of materials and services that are within budget to support the contractual service delivery requirements to customers.

What you will do:

• Working in the Purchasing Team, the Buyer is tasked with the timely placement of purchase orders to ensure the on time in full delivery of materials and services to support the production programme.

• Processing and the successful placement of compliant and appropriately authorised purchase orders

• Maintain and update purchase order progress notes and to seek credible and achievable expected delivery dates from suppliers

• Expediting of material, includes managing back orders and forward orders

Skills / Experience you must have:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and prior relevant experience.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
