Busway Coordination Engineer

This person will own the coordination and execution of  integrated owner furnished equipment with a focus on busway design across our products. The primary focus is managing the relationship and workflow between Excellerate and our OFE vendors while ensuring design alignment across teams.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associates or Bachelor's Degree

Experience: 7+ years experience in electrical / busway / power distribution coordination or design

Travel: 0-5%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and run all coordination meetings with OFE (busway) vendors
  • Act as primary point of contact (vendor-facing and internal team-facing), including product engineering, building engineering, procurement, owner, and owner representation.
  • Ensure models are received, reviewed, and integrated correctly
  • Drive alignment between drawings, models, and bill of materials
  • Coordinate across engineering, precon, and operations to maintain design intent
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across all deliverables
  • Help standardize and improve OFE (busway) coordination processes long term
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors, maintaining clear, professional, and consistent communication to support project success
  • Organize, manage, and maintain detailed project information, ensuring accuracy and accessibility across systems
  • Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders, driving discussions toward clear decisions, action items, and measurable outcomes
  • Utilize Revit to review, interpret, and work within models to support design coordination and project execution
  • Leverage Bluebeam for document review, markup, and collaboration workflows
  • Manage and manipulate data using Excel, including importing, exporting, and maintaining structured datasets
  • Work within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/Forma) to support project coordination and digital workflows
  • Develop working knowledge of Inventor and apply it as needed to support project requirements
  • Adapt quickly to new tools, systems, and technologies to support evolving project and business needs
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions or system-based workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
