Job Title: Business unit Manager - Middle East Distributor Markets (ME-DPM)

Location: Dubai

Mission of the role

  • Manage and develop Aesthetics/Prescription business- P&L and Marketing activities across ME-DPM (Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Lebanon,Jordan, Iraq and Egypt)

  • Influence, implement and execute the global marketing strategy - participate in GM team discussions

  • Manage sales and marketing team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision ,values and compliance.

  • Drive integrated dermatology strategy across Aesthetics BUs in alignment Cluster Head and LT teams.

  • work in cordination with the DPM team to exceed the sales and marketing goals in addition to operations

Responsabilities :

  • Design, propose and direct marketing strategy and sales / commercial policy in accordance with corporate strategy and collaborating with different functions

  • Management of product portfolio

  • Management of a distribution and sub-distribution network

  • Responsible for budget and P&L for the Business unit

  • In charge of shaping the market, assessing, promoting and monitoring (patient) with disciplined tracking of KPIs

  • In charge of assuring resources, leading and developing a team of marketing experts, key account managers and product specialists

  • Work closely with customer service / order entry function (in Finance)

  • Define annual plans and budgets per product – assess the progress of plans, follow marketing and sales output and implement corrective action if necessary

  • Identify target customers, develop a network of relations with healthcare professionals and identify and maintain strong links with KOLs

  • Define promotional policy

  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client

  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability

  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate market

  • Drive the team to increase productivity through targeted strategies to increase patient demand at clinic and pharmacy levels.

  • Mentor, coach and provide service to sales team ,ensure that they meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls

  • Coordinate activities with area marketing, strategic marketing, medical and regulatory departments and advise senior management on the development of new products or strategies

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team

  • Represent the company at congresses and events

  • Comply with all regulations & internal Galderma policies regarding interactions with healthcare

  • Adhere to related laws, regulations, Galderma Code of Ethics, and any other applicable Codes and SOPs

  • Ensure compliance to Galderma policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills :

  • University Degree in Sciences (pharmacy, medicine), with Business Administration degree (MBA) is an advantage

  • Knowledge of Aesthetics and Pharmaceutical industry

  • Fluent in English, including Medical and Business English (written, spoken, presentations)

  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in sales and marketing positions; showing growth in leadership, ideally in Pharma or Aesthetics

  • Experience in Middle East markets

  • Experience working in a matrix organization, international work experience desired

  • Experience in KOL management

  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements

  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams, experience in key account management

  • Experience managing a large product portfolio

  • Ideally, experience as part of a management team of an affiliate or business unit

  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals

  • Strong communication skills, including public speaking

  • Negotiation and influencing skills

  • High level of integrity

  • Good financial understanding and analytical skills

  • Strong relationship-building skills
