Currently for Zoetis Poland we are looking for candidates for the position of:

Business Unit Lead – Companion Animals

Position purpose:

BUL will lead and implement the global strategy for the Companion Animal (Cats, Dogs) unit within the competitive environment; will track current performance of CA team, contribute in setting sales targets and leads the CA marketing, technical and sales team in the development of strategies & tactics; ensure high level of technical support for customers, in order to achieve sales growth; leads and motivates the CA sales team to deliver growth and sales targets within agreed cost parameters; develops and implements a marketing strategy for CA products to meet identified objectives for impact, product positioning, market growth and profitability.

BUL will be responsible for leading, coaching, developing Account Specialists, Technical and Marketing colleagues, in line with Zoetis Values and Leadership behavior standards, to ensure both individual growth and maximize team performance and contribution.


Responsibilities:

  • Defines the marketing/sales strategies in CA segment, using business experience and expertise to add value to debate and decision making.

  • Contributes to a global Zoetis marketing strategy by providing trend analysis and information, which will assist in the production of a global marketing strategy.

  • Supervises and cooperates with Marketing Manager, Technical Manager and Sales Team to develop and achieve revenue and profitability targets for CA BU through focusing on increasing the effectiveness of the sales force through implementation of necessary procedures and processes.

  • Leads, coaches, develops and motivates direct reports.

  • Ensures that the quality of marketing/sales/technical services and expertise meet business needs.

  • Identifies personal development needs of sales representative.

  • Generates/ maximizes individual and team contribution

  • Identifies opportunities to expand the CA & EQ business.

  • Leads the development of a marketing strategy identifying market trends, commercial opportunities and brand potential and providing a focus on priorities for the CA unit, in line with overall Zoetis strategic priorities and targets.

  • Contributes to preparation of Zoetis Operating Plan to support the implementation and realization of Zoetis strategic goals and priorities.

  • Manages the business unit’s budget, contributing to annual budget setting process by submitting proposals detailing investment and business development opportunities and ensuring that expenditure meets targets.

  • Leads the sales forecast and review CA products monthly based on sell in, sell out and stock analyze etc.

Requirements:

  • Education: Veterinary, Life Science or Economic University education

  • At least 3 years in leader position in the animal health or its related business

  • Strong understanding of the animal health market and its dynamics

  • Strong managerial and leadership skills

  • Very strong communication skills

  • Strong selling, presentation, business/ strategic view skills

  • Confirmed success in leading sales teams

  • Strong relationship management capability

  • High computer literacy – MS Office

  • Language: Polish and English (fluent)

  • Preferred location: Warsaw
