What You’ll Be Doing

• Own P&L accountability, understanding, influencing, and delivering against growth and profitability targets.
• Set and drive the strategic direction for Business Unit(s) in partnership with European leadership.
• Lead senior-level relationships with vendors and customers, acting as escalation point where required.
• Develop, own, and execute divisional and vendor business plans, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Identify market growth opportunities and build clear, executable plans to capitalise on them.
• Drive share of wallet, market share, and long-term commercial performance.
• Provide strategic input into purchasing, sales, and pricing policy.
• Recruit, lead, coach, and develop teams to achieve Business Unit objectives.
• Build strong channel and stakeholder relationships internally and externally, up to board level.
• Increase the visibility and profile of the Business Unit across the organisation and wider market.
• Contribute new ideas that influence planning and execution at both strategic and operational levels.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience with P&L ownership in a complex commercial environment.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and confident decision-making capability.
• Ability to build and influence relationships at multiple levels, including executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, business planning, and performance review capability.
• Strong cross-functional influence and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership experience, including recruitment and development of senior talent.
• Solid understanding of the IT marketplace, including customers, vendors, and competition.
• Highly numerate, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pride in delivery.
