Inside the Role
The Business Systems Specialist is responsible for improving systems and processes that support critical functions across DTFS Credit and Operations. The role focuses on ownership and management of process improvement activities, workflow optimization, and automation solutions. Key responsibilities include leading small projects/initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders and IT, managing vendor relationships, and handling all aspects of problem research, system configuration, functionality enhancements, certification testing, user training, and documentation.Posting Information

This position will sit in Fort Mill, SC until Q3 of 2026 when the location moves to the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC.
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you drive at DTFS:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand benefits and prioritize initiatives
Explore process optimization opportunities and provide business consultancy to user groups
Formulate business requirements and lead implementation activities, coordinating with vendors and IT
Manage vendor relationships and oversee product upgrades
Plan and conduct system certification testing
Develop and deliver customized systems training as required
Update policies, procedures, work instructions, and system manuals
Provide day-to-day maintenance and production support
Conduct system testing, sign-offs, and go-live certifications
Drive internal process improvements and requirements definition
Knowledge you should bring:
BS/BA and prefer 2-4 years of relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
General knowledge of financial services or IT
Hands-on business or IT testing experience
Strong PC skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Outlook)
Knowledge of project management tools: MS Visio, MS Project, WBS Modeler
Exposure to project management methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Flexibility to work alternative schedules, including late nights and weekends
Exceptional candidates might have:
1–2 years of experience configuring or supporting cloud-based applications
Familiarity with IVR/IVA, telephony platforms, or AI-enabled tools
Experience executing and testing system changes
Prior knowledge of Credit Operations Systems such as: eCreditPro, DFAS, CreditShell, eFundingPro, Dealer Profile ALFA, Pega, Frames, ECM
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to quickly learn new products, systems, applications, and technologies, and adapt to change
