This is not a remote position and requires a regular on-site presence.
Responsibilities at the BSA I level:
Assist in formulating and defining computer systems scope and objectives through research and analysis of the department business systems and industry requirements.
Analyze business and user needs, documents requirements, and assist in revising existing systems and software as necessary to support the business environment.
Provide basic technical or production support and conducts routine maintenance and installation of software programs, computer systems and/or enhancements.
Assist in planning, coordinating and conducting related software, system and end-user testing.
Troubleshoot basic technical problems and issues.
Respond to requests for information including developing basic ad-hoc reports and queries in databases and/or management information systems.
Provide analytic support to department management for business planning and decision-making.
Assist with developing and revising procedures, defining processes, and delivering training to users.
May serve as liaison to Technology Division and programming staff.
Stay current in technology best practices, demonstrate initiative, accountability and collaboration.
Required qualifications for BSA I
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of higher education and/or relevant work experience OR
Associate degree and 2 years of relevant work experience.
Desired: Current or recent relevant experience in the Federal Reserve Bank System.
Ability to take initiative and accountability in completing tasks.
Capability to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently and in a timely manner.
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks as requested or based on critical needs.
Additional Information:
Starting salary will be between $56,300.00 up to $70,375.00
Full Salary Range for Business Systems Analyst I job profile: $56,300- $70,375- $84,500 Annual.
Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
