About the role

This role is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and user requirements for processes, policies, and information systems, with a focus on BillingPlatform. You will translate business needs into clear functional specifications that ensure solutions meet end‑user and business requirements.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Define system scope and objectives through research, analysis, and understanding of business systems and industry requirements

  • Analyze and document business needs, processes, metrics, strategies, objectives, and drivers, identifying opportunities for improvement and re‑engineering

  • Translate business and user requirements into detailed system and functional specifications

  • Assess system interactions and the impact of changes on users and internal/external stakeholders

  • Influence business partners and service providers on priorities, solution approaches, and vendor or hardware/software selection

  • Analyze industry, technology, and marketplace trends, vendor products, and best practices

  • Evaluate solution options, including cost/benefit and ROI analysis

  • Design or modify complex information systems aligned to business needs and industry standards

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases; conduct system, integration, readiness, and acceptance testing using client data

  • Validate changes to ensure application integrity and no adverse downstream impact; report and review test results

  • Train internal teams and external clients on new systems, changes, or procedures (one‑to‑one or classroom)

  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and quality review for less experienced business systems analysts

  • Consider broader business implications of applying technology within the current environment

  • Perform other related duties as required

What You Will Bring:

  • Preferred experience with BillingPlatform Billing and/or Revenue Recognition

  • Required knowledge of leading billing, CRM, or ERP platforms (e.g., Zuora, Aria, Salesforce, Oracle)

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry

  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end SDLC methodologies (waterfall, iterative, and modern approaches)

  • Expertise in requirements definition and solution design using model‑driven tools (process models, use cases, conceptual models)

  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and time‑management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive level

  • Proven ability to influence, persuade, and collaborate effectively

  • Strong customer service mindset with focus on internal and external client satisfaction

  • Proactive, resourceful, and collaborative approach, with willingness to share knowledge and expertise

  • Ability to estimate effort for project components and deliver work successfully
