The Business Systems Analyst will join the Cloudera Finance and Automation Systems team, primarily focusing on the administration and operational management of our Financial ERP, Oracle NetSuite. You will partner with global finance users to facilitate reporting, manage system enhancements, and ensure the platform scales with our business.
As a strategic business partner, you will serve as the primary point of contact for system-related month-end close tasks and issue resolution across our finance systems. You will also be responsible for ensuring all system changes adhere to SOX-compliant change management protocols.
As a Business Systems Analyst you will:
Support the Finance team in enhancing and optimizing NetSuite and other day-to-day close-related applications.
Partner with Corporate and International Accounting teams to document and improve workflows within NetSuite, NetGain, Nolan Business Solutions, and Blackline.
Design and maintain NetSuite Workflows, Saved Searches, and Financial Reports to automate manual processes and remediate technical debt.
Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, drafting Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), and overseeing UAT through to production rollout.
Conduct periodic training for end-users on new system features, process changes, and best practices.
Ensure strict adherence to change control procedures. Develop and provide audit reports to internal controls teams and external auditors as requested.
Actively support the Finance team during the month-end close to ensure a smooth, error-free process.
We're excited about you if you have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Data analytics, Management Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
Professional Experience: 5-7 years in systems analysis or administrator roles supporting ERP or Finance applications.
Domain Expertise: 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Financial modules (Order to cash, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Procurement).
System Integration: Experience working in environments where Salesforce serves as the primary CRM and reconciliation between Salesforce and financial sub-ledgers.
Functional Skills: Proven ability to gather requirements directly from business users and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Foundational Knowledge: A strong understanding of core finance and accounting concepts is required.
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
