Business System Analyst -Supply Chain & After Sales System, North Asia and SEAA

As part of the regional IT team, the Business System Analyst (BSA) will play a pivotal role in supporting Chanel’s digital transformation journey across North Asia and SEAA. This role will focus on ensuring the successful deployment of global project D365 integration with upstream and downstream such as WMS, POS and replenishment system, eCom and aftersales system including power platforms.

The Business Analyst will act as a regional liaison between local business teams and the global ERP implementation team. While the global team will operate and maintain the system, this role ensures that regional business requirements are accurately captured, translated, and communicated for successful deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across the region.

This role will cover our Fashion, Fragrance and Business Product (FBP), and Watch Fine Jewelry (WFJ) divisions. Actual middleware integration is conducted by separate middleware teams, but SCM BSA needs to be involved to drive the discussion and leads to proper implementation if necessary.

ERP Transformation Support – Microsoft D365

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage with regional business stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.) to understand operational processes and pain points.
  • Document and validate business requirements, ensuring alignment with global ERP standards.

Translation & Communication

  • Translate regional business needs into functional specifications for the global ERP team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clarifications between regional teams and global ERP experts.

Process Mapping & Gap Analysis

  • Map current regional processes against global ERP workflows.
  • Identify gaps and propose solutions or workarounds within the global operating model.

Testing & Validation

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases based on regional scenarios.
  • Coordinate feedback and ensure issues are documented and escalated to the global team.

Change Management & Training Support

  • Assist in preparing training materials tailored for regional users.
  • Support communication and adoption of new processes across the region.
