We have an opportunity for a Business Support Manager at our East Hartford, CT Campus. You will join the Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) and Data Services team to own the day-to-day operational support of P&W’s Data Services and Engine Health Monitoring businesses. This Data Services business currently supports the A220 and Embraer E2 Geared Turbofan (GTF) powered aircraft with planned expansion to other GTF powered aircraft.
We are seeking an individual that embraces a challenge, is able to work in a changing environment, takes initiative and has a demonstrated consistent track record of delivering results. We leverage technology advancements adopted by the industry becoming the standard on new aircraft applications.
These capabilities, including P&W’s solution called eFAST (Enhanced Flight Data Acquisition, Storage, and Transmission System), support P&W’s broader Digital Strategy by enabling P&W to automatically receive large volumes of engine operational data, develop improvements to our engine prognostic and diagnostic capabilities, and deliver increased value to our customers.
This will include working with other internal organizations, including Programs, Engineering and Digital Technology teams to ensure business processes, infrastructure and software tools support expected performance metrics (e.g., system availability, customer responsiveness, data throughput, etc.) and meet our customer needs.
What You Will Do:
Primary point of contract for P&W’s eFAST Data Service with Airbus Canada, working with the PW1500G Program Management Office, Engineering and Digital Technology teams at P&W, and an outsourced 24x7 Operational Support team.
Main focal to manage the Embraer E2 Data Service interfacing with Embraer, the PW1900G Program Management Office and other internal teams to ensure service delivery and drive service growth and stability
Support the overall Data Service day-to-day operation, which includes the E2, including management of a 24x7 support team
Support the development and execution of integrating new aircraft and engine data streams from various third-party providers into current processes
Manage third-party cellular SIM card plans that support Data Service customer data transmission – this includes using third-party web tools to set-up and actively manage SIM card plans
Support contractual program reviews with airframe manufacturers and customers
Identify and take initiative to drive process improvement and opportunities to further improve established or new outsource resources for long term support and anticipated growth of the services

Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience or Advanced Degree and 3 years of experience as listed below:
3+ years in a customer focused or project management role
Experience managing time-sensitive, high-pressure situations without supervisions

Results-oriented, customer-focused with a bias for continuous improvement
Experience supporting internal and external customers
Ability to think outside the box with rapid decision-making skills

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
