Why This Role Matters

The Business Support Administrator provides centralized support to Christie's Art Departments through the coordination of a variety of administrative activities. The Business Support Group is responsible for providing a high level of support to Specialist Department Sale Coordinators across the business on a day to day basis, particularly in busy sale periods. The team is charged with responding to Specialist Department requests via telephone, in-person and via email in an efficient and seamless manner.
 

How you'll make an impact

  • Support Sale Coordinators with a variety of administrative tasks

  • Provide support to Specialist Departments with the creation of Seller Agreements and Stock Orders by accurately capturing and processing the relevant information on JDE, etc. 

  • Liaise with Specialist Departments and Art Transport to arrange property pickup and shipments for incoming property for sale 

  • Liaise with Specialist Departments and Accounts Payable regarding PO receipting and follow up 

  • Process Temporary Releases and Site Transfers 

  • Responsible for liaising with and following up with Specialist Departments and Logistics for ongoing stock clearance

  • Strong awareness of overall business activities and ability to communicate relevant information effectively

  • Other duties assigned by Supervisor 

What you’ll bring to the team

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure to tight deadlines

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships

  • Solid administrative/secretarial experience in a busy, commercial environment

  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel packages and JDE desirable)

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to problem solve and proactively follow up to ensure issue resolution

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

Compensation Range

Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00
